The 2-story, 25,000 square foot Elko High School Science Building was constructed to provide increased student access to upgraded science lab facilities. Thurston Laboratories (then Thurston Test Lab) performed all soils compaction and concrete acceptance testing. Addionally, Thurston Laboratories provided special inspection of critical components and performed vapor emissions testing on the concrete floors.
